The VELscope system enhances oral exams by using blue light to reveal tissue abnormalities not visible to the naked eye. It’s quick, dye-free, and easily performed during routine dental visits in about two minutes. As an adjunctive tool,it supports, not replaces, the traditional head and neck exam.

Non-Polorized Light

Non-polarized white light visualization is the traditional method for examining tissue, providing a combination of surface reflections that highlight texture and topography, along with color variations that indicate the state of the underlying tissue.

Polorized Light

Polarized white light visualization excels at showing subtle colour tissue changes by improving colour response and eliminating surface reflections than can be distracting and obscure underlying tissue

Fluorescence Light
